Lexus Reschedules New IS Debut To This Coming Monday

Well, this week’s debut of the new Lexus IS didn’t go as planned, what with company execs opting to wait until things cooled down in the streets and Twitter feeds of America.

Turns out we didn’t have long to wait. The 2021 IS, already teased in a shadowy image released by Lexus earlier this month, will make an online appearance on Monday, June 15th. Lexus offered up a few new views of the thing, too. Your day is made!

I understand this tail lights is evolution of current gen, but it's way too minimal. What's worse, Mercedes also started using this triangle motif... absolutely hate it

I hope it fails and Koji Sato (new Lexus chief) figures out a way to convince Toyoda, to not make the same mistake again. Sato-san's predecessor was a damn fool to approve this.

The glimpses show what this is: a really pathetic nip/tuck of the current car which means that the "new" car rides on the same chassis. The IS is so class trailing I honestly don't know why they even bothered given that the IS is not a big seller. Cancel the damned thing.
