I see more chrome-U ugliness.

That this vehicle is so popular amazes me, its 'basic transportation" at best. This looks like an evolution of basic transportation to.... "different" basic transportation...

It's steeply discounted and cheap-leased.

The ignorant are either buying the outgoing model without catching their breath or are the dumb armchair quarterbacks, unaware of the higher spending on R&D, Nissan has been quietly undertaking the last few years on Nissan brand offerings for the 2020s.

At Nissan R&D it's 2020-2024, not 2012 like for the rest of you, parroting high fleet BS. There's a turnaround underway and massive fleet reduction, all at the expense of Infiniti and suspended R36 GTR.

This P33A (W33A for X-Trail) has been designed and engineered to excel. The P42R Pathfinder interior is even better than this. Mitsubishi is taking the low end, while an experiment to "upscale" Nissan has been underway a la Mazda.

QX55 (wannabe) coupe is delayed until April 2021 and 1 year late now. Q50/Q60 is as good as dead by 2023, 2023 QX80 is in limbo.

What complete nonsense: "has been designed and engineered to excel". Nissan is going to go from Volkswagen quality to Honda/Toyota quality just like that. That's rich. So are you claiming to be working for Ford and JLR and Nissan now?

The Rogue test mules have been running around my hometown for weeks, and even with the camoflage the design already looks dated. Sure, Nissan will sell hundreds of thousands of these, and I hope they do as it is good for our local economy, but being stuck by one at a traffic light earlier this week, it took all my might to stay awake.

The exterior does not harmonize with the interior. The interior is better than before but I've said that about Nissan interiors before and they're built like crap.

If Nissan is trying to go a bit more premium, the exterior on this just isn't it. Like they're trying to bring back a bit of ruggedness while making the interior more luxirous. Split personality.
