They both will get dumped. The "new" IS is just grabbing at incremental profit by putting lipstick on an old pig. The LS will be replaced by the LQ in spirit. The replacement to the LS needs to be an EV.

It's got an Infiniti-feel to the interior approach: keep the bones of the interior design and just mask it with different materials and a bit of design change and people will think it's brand new. Come on, Lexus, I thought you were better than that. And you've had plenty of time to come up with something new and better.
