What's next....AMGT 300? They shouldn't have done this.

This MB GT 43 roof shape reminds me when in 2004 the MB CLS 4 door shooting brake was first introduced to rave acceptance.

It makes business sense and is how these AMG Platforms and parts are earning their keep & real estate.

While Ofcourse I wasn’t thrilled about the 43/53 AMG designations across the brand, I’ve got word that this will set the stage for the Black Series return, turning already amazing AMG machines into the most beastly things on the road, looking forward to it

I don't understand the difference between an AMGGT 4-door and a CLSAMG.

They should have left the lowest-level GT the 53. Granted, the CLS doesn't have an AMG 43 version, but it's blurring the lines too much. But, I guess if you're willing to spend the extra money then why not build it if the extra cost isn't an issue.

Well, might as well cancel the CLS.

The AMG GT is a much better looking version of the CLS. I'm sure there will soon be a diesel AMG GT available in Europe with this direction.

Given that the AMGGT 4 door IS a CLS (same chassis)...
