LOOK OUT: Tesla Can Ban You For Complaining About Your Model Y Quality Issues

While there are plenty of new Tesla Model Y owners out there who just love the wheels off their new electric crossover, there are also those who are reporting serious defects. These reportedly range from paint problems, interior fit issues and other general quality quibbles.

Some of these issues are so bad that people are even returning their car to Tesla and asking for a refund. In this instance, according to Auto Motor und Sport, Tesla can actually ban these people for a year, if it deems the return was in any way improper.

Given how the Alt-Left (1) LOVES Teslas and (2) hates freedom of speech calling for intense censorship, this should make Tesla sales climb.

Wonder what will happen if they ban you and one week later the steering wheel falls off?

If someone returns a defective vehicle, they would be insane to ever buy another car from that manufacturer again.

The customer should ban the company forever.

This headline is very misleading. If you go to the trouble of actually reading the article, you’ll find that it reads that Tesla will ban one who returns vehicle for a refund in bad faith. That’s not the same as omplaining.

GT3, Tesla's official policy on their website is "if you are unhappy with your vehicle, you may return it to us within seven (7) calendar days."

You are allowed to return a Tesla for any reason whatsoever. How can Tesla possibly state that a return is in bad faith, especially if there are defects?

If you were buying the car just to look for flaws and do a Youtube video about it, then return it, and get another Model Y to look for more flaws, and repeat and then string together all of the videos to make it seem like a single car. Extreme example, don't think anyone has done that but it would be an example of someone doing something in bad faith. Even buying the car with only the intent to do a review and return it you could consider bad faith I think.

This is hardly a new concept. Amazon has a similar policy for people who return products in bad faith. It's a thing.

I've got a real simple solution to the shitty Tesla customer service. Don't buy one of their crappy cars.
