1.1 Sec 0-60? Will Ferrari's Be Taking Up Space To Catch Up To THIS?
1.1 Seconds 0-60. In the past, whenever you saw a stat like that, it was inevitable the article was talking about a Ferrari or other Supercar.

But THIS time, a NEW contender looks like it's going to send those others to the MOON.

Check this video and tweet here on the Tesla Roadster....And give us your impressions.

We'll take ours with the 'SPACE' X package.

That's going to hurt.

This is more hyperbole. The car is supposed to be rocket assisted. That is NOT a car. It is a circus stunt vehicle (if it ever is built). But the crazy media is responding to this nonsense as if it were plausible and a threat to genuine automobiles. RIDICULOUS.

Too many fools with money but no driving ability to handle such thrust will wreck these while showing off, distracted, getting on the throttle too early thru a turn or on wet pavement. Many on the first day of ownership. Lets just hope the only ones they hurt are themselves.

This will be helpful for merging onto 280.

New halo car, only Tesla could pull something like this off thanks to their relationship with SpaceX. I think the package will put the car well over $1M, but it should destroy anything else out there. Thrusters would also be used for braking and cornering.

Well, it was doing 1.9 second 0-60s for 2 hours on launch day, with a 100 kWh battery from the Model S/X. I think it will do just fine with the next gen 200 kWh beast they are planning.
