Tesla's New Autopilot Feature Set Confuses Burger King Signs With Stop Signs
Burger King figured out that Tesla Autopilot’s new “Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control” feature can confuse Burger King signs for stop signs and they quickly turned it into an ad campaign.

In April, Tesla started to push an Autopilot update with the ability to detect and stop the vehicles at traffic lights and stop signs.

The new feature is called “Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control.”

Now that you mention it, I thought the Tesla engineers were looking a bit porcine.

Good for Burger King, now I just need Tesla’s next launch or press event to be sponsored by Burger King

If you're stopped anyway, may as well get one of those delicious new Soylent Green Whoppers.

I haven't been in a Burger King in at least 15 years, but wow, the actors in those BK ads seem to LOOOOOOVE them.

A vegetarian friend urged me to try it with her. It was terrible and then I asked her if she was OK with the cross contamination of her veggie burger likely being fried on the same flat top as the beef patties. She literally went to the women's room and purged.

I like the purge story, but I'm guessing anytime you go into a BK bathroom to vomit you'll be about the 14th person in line to do so.

BK is just disgusting. They all seem to be in need of repair, poorly cleaned. I don't eat a lot of fast food but In N Out, Chick Fil A, Canes, and Hamburger Habit seem better maintained.

As for bathrooms, I'm glad that I can stand to do my business. Some fast food rest rooms are as disgusting as rest stop shitoriums.

The concept intrigues me...hack cars to present your ads. Google likely developing this service for big box stores.

This is pretty hilarious, and great free advertising for Tesla.

So far I have had no false negatives for stop signs or stoplights. I had one false positive, which was a stop sign that only applied to an adjacent lane. The feature has been great and I'm looking forward to the release rolling out now that requires fewer confirmations if you have a lead car.
