Lots of people are eager to purchase a new Tesla and experience the very poor build quality and ownership problems for themselves.

At this point, it's irrational to buy anything but a Tesla unless you're CAN'T afford one or you CAN afford to lease luxury brands in perpetuity.

Teslas are still the only cars offering consistent OTA updates as well as the potential for full self driving. Anything that can't do both (and isn't an EV) is going to be a terrible use of money to buy.
