Audi's design laziness is finally costing it big time. Even over the past 3 years, long before coronavirus COVID-19 disrupted the global economy, Audi's sales growth has failed to keep pace with Mercedes-Benz's and BMW's.

Buyers are simply tired of looking at more or less the same design for the past 10 years and are voting with their purchases.

And Marc Lichte--instead of creating a gorgeous new look--took the tired look, grafted on dumbed-down Lexus touches and pretended it was an all new look. Sedans are dead, but the A4/6/8 have never been compelling versus their counterparts at MB/BMW
