The mid-engined Corvette stylistically speaking needed to be a bomb blast like the 63 Sting Ray. Instead it looks like what a 10 year old would do on photoshop by grafting C7 styling onto an NSX.

I've seen and driven the C8 and it just isn't a leap over the C7 at all.

I just came home from an errand and there was a red c8 in front of me at the light. Pretty is not a word you can use when you look at this car from behind. It's Chevy's call but it isn't my taste.

The C8 has the proporitions of a fat Pontiac Fiero, while the C7 was a handsome, very graceful car.

It makes me want to go out and find a low-mileage C7 Cabriolet and stick it in the barn for long term fun.

I think it looks much better up close in 3D than in pictures. I have to agree that the C7 was a good looking car.

It's funny. Its seems every time a new generation of Corvette comes out, folks say the previous gen was better looking. I guess when the C10 arrives, this C9 will be hailed as a "timeless design" lol.
