WARTHOG HUNTER? Jeep Desperate To Fend Off 2021 Ford Bronco Threat. Teases 392 6.4L Hemi V8 Wrangler.
From what we know and have seen, Monday is going to be a tough day for the Jeep Wrangler.

Because as we all know, the 2021 Ford Bronco will make its debut.

We're SWORN to secrecy but it was inevitable Jeep had to be planning a reaction.

And it looks like we were right.

Jeep just teased a pic of a 392 6.4 HEMI Wrangler.

Is it too little, too late?

AGENT001: Not going negative on you or FCA but >>>> Big V8's have been installed "aftermarket" in CJ's for years. The only difference here is that now it's factory installed. Way back when, you could get a CJ with a 304 V8 from the factory. Not too much to see here.

Wrangler has nothing to worry about, the Bronco will be a Ford PT Cruiser at best, hot at first then dwindle

Give it a rest with the partisan drivel. Clearly you don't pay attention to what you're writing about about in this respect.

The #1 problem with the Wrangler/Gladiator is the pricing that is 15-20% too high for what you get. Jeep botched the Gladiator by overpricing it. Once the early adopters got their units, Gladiators lagged for sales and deals had to be made. That situation will get worse as the Bronco stampedes.

This will be the poser Jeep indicator, no real off-road needs a ton of power, it is even sometimes a detriment for off-road crawling. The Hemi logo will scream poser.

Why not just make it a hybrid v6, like in the mild hybrid 4 cyl version of the Sahara? Jeep people are very loyal. That V8 is a gas guzzler, and a rollover magnet, and will sit on the lots just like the Chargers/Challenger big block V8s.
