WHICH Vehicles On The Market TODAY COULD Become Best Sellers If Their Prices Were Lowered Significantly?
As I drive around and as I see new models cruising through the streets almost all new products are pretty good.

But some of them are head-scratchers.

WHY?

Because they look good, they seem to make sense and you would think they would be top sellers in their segment except for one thing.

The companies have overpriced them by a significant amount.

Let me throw out ONE example.

The Chevy Blazer.

It's one of GM's better looking products (not saying much), is the right size and crossovers are hot. It's been described as if the Camaro was a CUV.

But MAN, is it OVERPRICED!

Checking dealers websites EVEN with a 10k discount, the Chevy is STILL a $40k street price product.

We think if that product was $30k street price, sales would be 3-4x.

So our question is WHICH vehicles do you believe could become good sellers if they lowered their prices significantly.

BETTER sellers if not BEST sellers...Blazer, CT4/5, XT4/5/6, Escape, Explorer, Edge, Nautilus, Corsair, Gladiator, Renegade, Compass, Atlas, Tiguan, Arteon, A3/4/6/7/8, 3/5/7/8 Series, C/E/CLA/CLS, LC, LS.

10% wouldn't do it. 20% would.

In current times, because supply is scarce, people are buying what's available, but once supply comes back the above sales turkeys will need help.

Almost all cars would become hot sellers or better sellers with significant price cuts, contingent on all rivals staying static. Imagine getting an Accord for the current price of a Civic? Or a Stinger for the price of an Optima?

And as usual, in your stupidity and pissy attitude you miss the point. For example, when comparably equipped, the Explorer and Escape are more expensive than their predecessors so much so that buyers balked and walked.

Yeah...no one is fooled when a new model is launched " !!!! at the same !!!! price as the old one !!!! " only to discover that once necessary options are added, its now 12% more expensive. The the customers get pissed and go buy a Kia or Hyundai.

@mre30 As an example, people who leased Explorers 3 years ago are finding that a comparable one today is $3-5K higher and that coupled with the 2010 styling and the low-rent interior is getting them to walk.
