SPIED! Spy Shots Of Next Generation S-Class Caught On The Ring! Do You See Some 7-Series In The Silhouette?
New S-Class is spotted on the ring in Germany.

From the spy shots here is seems like it's gotten a little leaner and dare we say it looks a little 7-ish?

Will it's outlandish interior make it into its SUV's?

Mercedes needs a plastic surgeon in design team to fix that contagious droopy ass across their product line

"Do You See Some 7-Series In The Silhouette?" Looks like a perfunctory restyle of the current car. The droopy tail should have been ditched along with the rise and fall of the lower line of the DLO. I'll bet people will be unable to tell this is a new S Class.

Nope , I do not see any BMW trace there.

At this rate, this could be the S Class generation that kills the S class.

Like the C8 killed the Corvette? Lol.

The existing S-Class was built on the chassis of the 2007 to 2015 S-Class, only with an extensive re-styling ('dump in the trunk' rear and swoopy interior) with suspension/dimensions, etc basically unchanged.

This looks to be an even less evolutionary restyle that will again be built on the same mid-2000's platform. Interior is a disappointment too. If MB re-engineered the platform, they could have redesigned the instrument panel back end to allow the jumbo screen to look less 'tacked-on' than it is.

Match point 7-Series (which with its 'Carbon Fiber' construction, at least drives differently [lighter and more tossable] than the ponderous S-Class. The 7 series actually has about 6 inches more rear leg room than the S-Class. Drive one, its now the better car.

Full disclosure, I traded my S550 for a 750i and I much prefer it to the MB. The TT V8 is very low inertia and really likes to rev. It has a wall of power.

I see no 7 Series in this.

Regarding the interior, we have to just understand that the industry continues to move towards these types of interiors. I'd have to see it in person to make judgement. I think it looks nice and modern, and if supported by surrounding high quality and nice colors, it could be a big win. Audi interiors leave me cold with all the shiny surfaces and not a fan of screen placement. Tesla interiors leave me very cold and not like I'm in a higher-priced car.

An interior full of screens and tacked on screens is not really worthy of an S-Class. It's sad what things are coming to.

This is exactly the direction the new S Class needs to go.

All the haters here will be kissing its droopy ass in no time. Just like last time.

Standing still and rehashing 15-year-old styling is genius?

You hated the current S-Class until you loved it. Same will happen again. Sheep need to be led.

In its class it's the best car, but I've always been a detractor of its styling. Brilliant car marred by ugly styling.

As for sheep, that's ironic given that you are incapable of thinking for yourself and rely on what your Alt-Left handlers tell you to believe.

I wish only that I had companies you wanted to buy because apparently you think overpaying is brilliant business.
