You had to bring up that meaningless stat again. The country just came off a massive recession. Of course the job market rebounded. It's no different that the 10,000 point gain in the DOW, after the worst fears about Covid came to being. It's a stupid meaningless stat used by those who try to fool the less informed.

Much more relevant would be the historically low unemployment rate for black and hispanic americans. Those are real results, and the result will be enough of a bleed off of those voters to the Trump side that the election will be swung. You can take that to the bank.

You would be more informed if you would read. I am referring to the last three years of his 2nd term as you can see if you read the article and has nothing to do with the bounce back in 2009-2012. As for historically low unemployment, that decrease in unemployment is like a straight line from 2009 to 2019. What did happen is that $1/2T was dumped into the economy and exploded the annual deficit to over $1.2T. Where are those tea partiers...deficit hawks???

I enjoy the back and forth on politics here. I’ll even give Trump some credit on things like getting tough on China, their BS trade practices, stealing IP, or demanding IP to be able to sell in the Chinese market. He probably could have coordinated better with Europe on this as they are just as much a victim as we have been. Also the renegotiation of NAFTA was a good move. However he has also been disastrous in other areas such as the deficit, dealing with other “liberal democracies” ...ie our allies, COVID-19 response, climate issues etc...
