SPIED! First Shots Caught Of An SUV From A Company You Remember For Sports Cars.
Something new is in the works. Car magazine gives these details:

‘The brand has the potential to go beyond sports cars – and that includes an SUV,' he told CAR in June 2019, 'but we have to make sure it’s true to the brand. We are not going to stick a Lotus badge on someone else’s product. We have access to a lot of technology, resources and platforms as part of Geely. An SUV could be on a group-derived platform but engineered for Lotus.’

Here are the latest spyshots of it in testing. Are you excited to see an SUV from them or is one GV80 enough?

Hmmm not sure what it would take to revive Lotus. SUVs have worked for others such as Porsche but... Lotus may be a bridge too far except perhaps in England.

Geelys for everyone! First, the badge engineering of Geelys as Volvos and now "presto changeo" Geelys badge engineered as Lotuses.

Lotus is in sales caca because cars like the Evora are just not that good beyond track days. If Lotus had done a coupe that was a daily driver kind of car, they could have had a different fate. Building MR2s was not the answer.

Instead of a reskinned mall crawler, maybe Lotus should do a non SUV like Ferrari is planning. They are the real deal just like they are. I know the dollars are likely not there, but this road may not lead anywhere good.

It looks like that Toyota hybrid crossover that called "HH" something.
