Pathetic attempt by Acura with one foot already in their grave playing catchup.

Just for comparisons:

2020 MB C43 385 hp 384 lbs-ft

2020 Infiniti Q50 Redsport 400 hp 350 lbs-ft

The Infiniti RS is a sorry excuse for "performance" car. 400 hp and still can't outrun cars with lower hp.

And I'll bet the Type S can match acceleration of the S4 and C43 at a $10k discount. The M340i with 0-60 times recorded as 3.8 will be a tough sell, but again, the Type S would be as costly.

I meant, the Type S would NOT be as costly as the M340i.

Problem with the Infiniti Q50 Redsport 400 is shitty OEM tires from the factory and a slow shifting 7 speed automatic transmission.

Right, which translates into the Q50 RS being a lame attempt. And the car has many other issues that make it a non-threat in the segment outside of OEM tires and transmission. They barely manage to sell only because they'll give one to you for the price of an Accord. Trust me, I was offered one.

Nissan's "FM" platform is nearly as much of a disaster as the Giorgio is for FCA. The FM is known for component failures, reliability is mediocre, and durability is terrible. But, hey, just like the "all new" Frontier and the Titan before it, the 400Z will be old garbage with a new body.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Acura undercut the Kia Stinger GT2 AWD on price?

You clearly do not understand the word "ironic".

That's disappointing. Was hoping for at least 400hp.

Hope the TLX isn’t released as a beta product like the RDX. Lots of complaints (and a lawsuit) around infotainment.
