WATCH: Tesla Model X Leaps In The Air After Taking A Brutal Hit In High Speed Crash

It's hard to tell exactly what happened here, but it seems as though the driver of the white car is trying to perhaps beat the Subaru to merge from one roadway onto another. The white car seemingly runs out of room and the Subaru merges properly, though perhaps at too high a rate of speed.

With no room left the merge, the driver of the white car attempts to avoid the collision but in doing so its wheel lift off the ground and control of the car is lost. It then slams directly into the driver's side rear area of the stopped blue Tesla Model X. At this point, the Tesla goes a bit airborne, while the white car proceeds to roll over before coming to a stop.

1)Ban the fat slob in the Sentra from driving for life only to use Public Transportation here on out

2) impressed with Nissan Sentra’s shock absorption of the accident with the exception of the flimsy windshield

3) impressed with the model X’s center of gravity Which helped prevent a roll over but those rear doors are hazardous if they fling open during impacts like that god forbid children or any loved ones sitting there

Anyone sitting on the drivers side of the Model X is dead. The glass area of a vehicle is not designed to absorb a crash. If the Sentra was level to the ground they might have had a chance.

Since someone was sitting in the driver's seat, and the fact they didn't die, makes your comment invalid.

@act98092 - Take another look at the photo and see how far up the Sentra is and how far into the Model X. Was the vehicle good or was the driver just lucky in this case? It may be the latter...

VERY alarming that the driver's side "Falcon Door" (!!trumpets sounding!!) immediately opened in this collision. Doors need to stay closed in collisions to keep the occupants inside the vehicle.

I await the follow up video where the Model X bursts into flames and burns for days in the junkyard.

Tesla fanboys/girls/cis' : can any of you defend that it is acceptable that the gigantic door immediately opened in this (or any) collision?

I'm sure SanJoseDimwit is waiting on Tesla boilerplate from his owners to spew.

Bring back public stockades and shaming for the driver who caused this accident and never allow them to drive again.
