CANCEL CULTURE Makes Audi Its B_tch After Freaking Out Over Photo. Has It Gone Too Far?
Holy Trader Jose! This is such an impossible time in the current climate to own a business.

Every day, somehow, someway you are going to offend people.

Audi is the latest victim of that with this photo

As you can see, the mob came after them and they tweeted three apologies.

Spies, has this gone too far? Who actually thinks Audi purposely tried to offend people with the image?

Discuss.

Let’s be clear...Audi’s lackluster designs over the last few decades got them cancelled...the general public thinks Audi only makes one vehicle...the Q5

Every car company should have the right to produce an utterly terrible, confusing, meaningless, stupid ad.

Having an ad with someone eating a banana is just a universally bad idea. Not even sure if I would do it for company that even makes bananas. Just show the product. Audi could have followed the same advice. A sleeping child in a booster seat is the right image for the message they wanted to portray.

VW-Group Marketing/Advertising Checklist:

(a) Racist Ad - VW GTI - Check!
(b) Kiddie Porn/Anti-Family Ad - Audi - Check!

(c) Is the 'Heroin Chic' ad next? Bentley? Lambo? Maybe even Ducati?

Safest bet is for everyone to use a version of the original introduction ads for Infiniti! That should test everyone’s automotive history knowledge.

That's a horrible response/justification from Audi. And whomever approved the ad is severely questionable (not fired).
