Man Goes On Spending Spree With COVID-19 Relief Money - Strip Clubs And A New Lambo URUS

When so many Houstonians are in dire financial straits right because of the pandemic, it's unsettling, if not infuriating for some to hear the story of a Houston man who's accused of using $1.6 million in CARES Act money to splurge on a lavish shopping spree.

A 29-year-old Houston man has been accused of making fraudulent applications for COVID-19 relief aid and then spending $1.6 million on "lavish personal purchases" items, including a Lamborghini Urus, a Rolex watch, and entertainment at night clubs, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Patrick's office.
