Tesla Developing It's Own Smart Watch For Some Reason

The automaker has been known to branch out of the electric vehicle business, but this is would be quite a new venture for Tesla.

Xplora Technologies, a Norway-based wearable company focusing on smartwatches for kids, has filed an application with the FCC for a new smartwatch and listed Tesla as being involved in the project.

In an application to keep aspects of the project confidential, the company listed “Tesla Motors” in the filling:

Actually newest update for Apple watch OS and IOS does include smart key features. The watch and/or phone do act like a key. Ironically, I think the only car it works on at launch is a new BMW 5 series.

This is an information sponge disguised as a watch. Between unlocking and starting your car it is gathering information on you to be sold. Tech companies are becoming insidious and invading our lives in ways never imagined. There is no getting away from it but no need to invite them into your life any more than necessary.
