Jeep TEASES Wagoneer and GRAND Wagoneer. RAM Based Challenger To Go Against Tahoe And Suburban
Ram will officially pull the covers off the all-new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX on Monday, August 17 at noon EDT (9 a.m. PDT).

One of this year’s most hotly anticipated automotive unveilings, the debut of the TRX, Ram’s new performance-focused off-road pickup, will be streamed online and available for public viewing.

But they also put out this Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer teaser so we're wondering if that will also drop at the RAM event Monday. Stay Tuned...

Are you excited to FINALLY see it?

And one OTHER question seeing the latest political climate...Will the showcased American flag badge TURN OFF 50% of the potential buyers?

I know that question sounds odd but I hear many people in conversation say they HATE American flags on vehicles almost as much as confederate flags. NOT KIDDING!

Jeep should put the flag on the entire lineup. Those who love the flag will buy these cars even more. Ford should do it too. I have the flag on my Mustangs license plate.

Those who hate the flag are not buying the brand anyway. They drive Suburus.

BTW, I bet Jeep removes the American flag on cars exported out of the country.

That plasticized chrome attachment is sorta of the US Flag and kinda isn't at the same time. Would it cost to much to colour it properly? For a product made in the USA, the flag just drives that point home. Nothing wrong with that. But considering what Trump and the former GOP have done to the country, @jeffgall might be right and export models won't have this pseudo US flag attached.

It doesn’t matter what time or who is in office. Even during the Obama era, people in Canada, Mexico, and Europe would not want an American flag on their car. Only in the U.S. do idiots fly the flag of the country from which they come. I am of Italian descent, but I only fly the American flag, as my ancestors fled Italy for the opportunity and freedoms only the U.S. provides.

In terms of adding color, not necessary. Would make it look cheesy. I applaud the monochrome look for a more premium effect.

The Wagoneer is an example of systemic mismanagement at FCA.

It's a Ram Tahoe and could have been on the market 10 years ago. Marchionne the moron wasted billions on the ill-fated Alfa-Romeo revival that has been an utter worldwide failure. For very little additional cost, Giorgio could have spat out a new Challenger, Charger, 2 Jeeps, and a Journey replacement. #mismanagement

Manley gets control and does not immediately advance a product--the Wagoneer--that can be brought to market quickly and for minimal outlay, but he wastes time like the dimwit he is letting the products stagnate. The Wagoneer could have been making massive money for FCA for some time now.

And then there is the Grand Cherokee that is horribly outdated but is coming at some point on the Giorgio platform. Giorgio has been around how long now?

I hope that when Peugeot gets control that they fast track a Giorgio replacement for the Fiatokee and then kill the Crapass and the Retrograde in favor of something not shitty.

@MD- I always amazes me RAM did not go after the Tahoe Suburban market with an appropriate product. Same for Toyota not making an HD and Dually version pick up truck. If you are going to address the US market, do it right.

Marchionne and Manley demonstrate incompetence and idiocy.

The Fiatokee should have been reskinned as a Dodge Journey. No brainer there.

The Jeep Crapass should have been a Chrysler rather than a near duplicate of the Retrograde.

A Durango prototype should be running around too, but nope. The Durango sells consistently enough that it needs to continue with a replacement.

The Durango is basically a prior-gen Mercedes GL450 with MOPAR bits. For its price, it is an excellent vehicle and very space efficient.

Its been around an eternity, but its excellence is why it keeps selling.

Durango has simply the worst truck suspension I've driven in 25 years. Couldn't WAIT to hand back the keys to that one. The Grand Cherokee rides like a Rolls-Royce Ghost compared to that whatever.

The current Grand Cherokee and Durango are largely the same vehicle.

Have always wondered why the Durango just wasn't marketed as a 3-row GC or even why it didn't evolve into a true Tahoe foil. But 001, you answered my question at least from the GC standpoint. Those I know that have or had one never really complained.

The Grand Cherokee models not equipped with air suspension don't have the best ride either...especially when equipped with the larger wheels.
