VIRUS ALERT! MOST Auto Spies Readers SUFFER From THIS! Do YOU?
Virus, Virus, Virus. That's all we hear about. Day after day.

So we've always found in tough situations humor can help.

And in 2020 during this pandemic, the MEME game is STRONG.

So we thought we'd throw this one at you because as soon as we saw it we could ALL relate.

The question is DO YOU have it? And IS there ANY cure???!!!

I fail to see how people can't love cars nor can I understand the motivation of people who want the car to drive for them. Cars are much too much not to enjoy. People who barely know me will ask why I have "all those cars" as if it's somehow almost immoral to have them. But, I've known most of the cars since I was 13/14 My "grandfather" Edward is to blame. He had a collection, and then bought collections from two friends as they passed. His friends sold to him for pennies on the dollar because they wanted their cars to be taken care of. All along we've been purging cars due to duplication and struggling to store and maintain then. Edward has allowed me to sell a couple and to buy different replacements. And--bit by bit--he is transferring them to me. He's in his early 80s. Cars can be worth big money, but if you want to sell them you have to be patient for the right buyer.

While I can see autopilot features being handy in a 1.5hr slog home on the DVP /407 from the Toronto core to my house in rush hour back 10 years ago. I would want the driving part of my journey to be taken over by software. If a mistake happens I would want it to be my fault for good or bad.

You say that now... eventually you'll want to kick back and do something fun or productive while driving. Unless of course you have someplace fun to drive. Congested freeways and city streets aren't that fun to drive in.

The appliance driver clearly does not believe driving is fun or productive. #NotACarGuy

Sure I do, drive for when you can drive for fun (no traffic or up in the hills or on a track, etc.).

I've had it since I was 16. No cure.

I fantasize about buying today's future classics and holding on to them for decades but I'm quick to sell them if I can make a dime and put it on an old car.

I love driving, but I love the idea (as scary as it is to me) of autonomous driving. One car to drive me. Other cars in my garage for me to drive. Problem solved.
