Over The Air Update Limits Top Speed Of Corvette To 26 MPH When The Frunk Flies Open

The Corvette’s frunk is the subject of another recall and this one aims to solve reports of the front trunk lid flying open while people are driving.

As noticed by Road & Track, the recall blames drivers and says they “may overlook open hood alerts.”

Slam the frunk like you hate it and you should be good. It's easy to think its shut when it isn't secure.

Not to mention how dangerous it would be to drive a C8 at 26 miles an hour on a freeway when you are 100 miles from home!

You do realize you can pull over and shut the frunk properly, right?

You do realize that if the frunk isn't shut properly, when you begin driving, 26mph will be top speed, right?
