Would A TRX Based Ramcharger SUV Be Your Cup Of Tea?

The launch of the new Ram 1500 TRX super truck has been well received by the market, with the 702 Launch Edition units selling in just three hours despite a $92,020 base price.

As cool and capable as the 702 HP TRX truck might be, one can’t help but wonder what a full-size SUV would be like if it used the same hardware. One doesn’t need to look too far in the past to find a precedent as Dodge used to sell a Ram pickup-based SUV called Ramcharger from 1974 to 2001.

Sure. I always wanted a $99,000 two door SUV that delivers 10 mpg. Real nirvana.
