SPY SHOTS! Does The BMW 8-Series Have WEIRD Mustang Fetish?

I remember when I first saw the BMW 8-Series, I commented to Agent 00R "Holy I heart Mustang!".

And looking across the internet many were seeing the same thing I did.

Fast forward to today when I saw these spyshots from CarThrottle.

They pictured an 8-Series mule in testing with, YES, faux MUSTANG-like window vents.



So tell us Spies, does BMW have a FETISH for the Mustang? And do you see it as well?

Part of the CAMO? Guy down the street has an M8 in white. Has one of those track day tow rings attached to it. Looks as odd as you might think. But not as strange as this.

Rumor is this is a testbed for a new mid-engined sports car, thus the vents.

I know...the engineers put the engine in the rear & more cooling was needed.

Or, they're running the car using minimal HVAC cooling so side vents were added to help keep occupants cooler during track testing.
