Are You Ready Yet? Jeep Tosses Out More Grand Wagoneer Teasers Ahead Of Reveal

Mark your calendars: The new Jeep Grand Wagoneer debuts on September 3 (as a concept). When the production version of the new Jeep SUV eventually arrives, it will have three rows, off-road capabilities, and based on previous reporting, possibly a few different engine options. But until those details are confirmed, all we know about the new Grand Wagoneer is what we've seen in teasers – and the latest two could be the most telling.

They're making so nervous...i can hardly stand it.

But not the nervous "excitement" for a new SUV, but nervous like a parent hoping their 3rd grader doesn't flip-out on stage during a school assembly performance event. I'm hoping Jeep has gotten this "design" right in same vein as how Ford basically got the Bronco "right" for today's expectations for a performance & capability & exterior proportions.

Looks like there is a lot of attention to detail in the interior. If they are planning on pricing at Navigator/Escalade price points they need a better motor than the unrefined pentasutar V6/Hemi V8.

How are the V8s in the Navilades any better?

The Pentastar is good enough for Maserati...

The Maserati version of the pentastar is highly modified and turbocharged...Jeep uses the standard 3.6L version which is not competitive in 2020. Navigator 3.5l turbo is a good motor, as is the small block V8 GM uses...neither Chrysler engine can hold a candle to those engines.

The fact is that the Maserati V6 is a Pentastar despite all the bullshit they throw to make it seem distinct.

The Hemi most decidedly can hold its own.
