The MOST Beautiful Police Car Of ALL-TIME? This One Would Make James Bond Jealous!
The GTE was the first production 2+2 from Maranello, offering the ultimate GT experience to a discerning clientele that needed to travel with speed, comfort and all the flair the prancing horse could offer. Development started in 1959 from the successful 250 long wheelbase chassis that was widened in order to guarantee a roomier cabin. For the same reason, the notorious Colombo engine was moved forward and an elegant body was commissioned from Pininfarina. The car was a commercial success with three different series evolving over 4 years of production.

The Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2

Unveiled at the 1960 24 Hours of Le Mans where it was the course marshal’s car, the 250 GTE 2+2 would become one of Ferraris most popular and successful models, combining all of the essential ingredients a Ferrari should have, a front-mounted V12 engine and ladder-frame chassis, all cloaked in a timelessly elegant Pininfarina body.

The Ferrari 250 GTE Polizia

Squealing tyres, crashing bumpers and screaming engines, this was Italian crime in the 1960’s.
Italy saw most crime end with a car chase in the 1960’s, with the criminals racing to escape the Polizia in the fastest way possible. Italy’s Police force had previously used black Alfa Romeo 1900’s, nicknamed Pantera, but as criminals got faster, so did the Police with sportier green Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 saloons.

One of Italy’s most revered and successful Police officers was Armando Spatafora who was based in Rome. When asked “What do you need to be complete?” Spatafora replied “What could be better than a Ferrari?” to which he was told “A Ferrari you will have then”.

Nah I’d still take ole faithful crown Victoria’s they had a special charm to em and didn’t cause officers to pass out like their stable mate the previous Gen explorers leaking carbon monoxide into the cabin....

The Ferrari seen here looks more plain jane than beautiful, Bond wouldn’t trade his Aston Martin for it

Oh and yes....Black Lives Still Matter...thanks for your dedicated coverage Autospies...you’ve dedicated so many post to the protestors which I’m grateful for, hopefully you also cover some of the victims of police brutality as well

Keep up the great blogging!

Black lives don't matter to Planned Parenthood given the rate--highest both in numbers and per capita--of black fetus euthanasia.

Did you know White Lives make up the mass majority of welfare recipients of welfare recipients despite a 400 year head start and being PAID for labor LMAO

On a PER CAPITA basis, blacks are on welfare the most. The ONLY way this "White Lives make up the mass majority of welfare recipients..." would be true would be if blacks and white represented the same NUMBER of people in the demographic breakdown of the nation. PER CAPITA whites and Latinos can't hold a candle to blacks cranking out babies and refusing to work.

I repeat for the slow one in the room there are MORE whites on welfare than blacks, the numbers don’t even compare, despite whites benefitting from a 400 year head start, generational wealth, oh and being paid for their labor

It’s honestly a miracle the black community is in the position they are today after overcoming slavery, Jim Crow, and systemic racism

Everyone go ask your parents or grand parents if they can recall signs reading “WHITES ONLY” “NO COLOREDS” all over this country not too long ago

Banning generations of blacks from universities, banks, corporate jobs, neighborhoods, restaurants, theme parks, and more?

Let’s get real, stop they hate...it’s ridiculous and you’ll end up selling used Hyundai’s for a living like the dumbass above

That's irrelevant because you can only look at rate of usage relative to a given population. Simply stated, blacks are infinitely more likely to go the welfare route than whites.

You may want to cling to raw numbers but analysis of the per capita angle is important because the context of cases relative to a given population is essential to examine the relative usage rates. Black culture has a deep moral breakdown as it relates to rates of welfare fraud and using abortion as birth control.

It’s funny how you are so quick to dismiss raw numbers because they don’t fall in your favor....

Stop being a pussy and man up deal with the topic at hand

I know how to do data analysis and you don't. It's that simple.

You aren't smart enough to understand statistics.

poverty rate for the population as a whole is 11.8% the rate varies greatly by race. Blacks have the highest poverty rate at 20.8% and Non-Hispanic whites the lowest at 8.1%.

The Poverty rate for Blacks and Hispanics is more than double that of non-Hispanic Whites.

Might want to pick up a book on statistics Car4. You are in over your head.

While you are looking up rates, look up the rate of mass shootings and pedophilia in white communities...you see throwing stones from a glass house....is quite stupid
