So, muscle cars and trucks has been around for "12" months and claim to be the most accurate source "ever" on C8 news and or developing news. This kind of crowing oneself talk reminds me very much of the US "I am a stable genius" President. At some point there will be a BEV Corvette. Maybe the C10 or the C11.

I mean... if he did have insider info it's pretty messed up to do a product announcement like that. If there is an EV corvette, they are not going to drop that news until they are ready to make a serious reveal. I imagine they are actually making a hybrid and Joe didn't fully understand the difference.
