GM And Geely Try To Make Pickups A Chinese Hit

Pickup trucks may become more of a common sighting in Chinese cities as carmakers cater to growing interest among car owners. 

Both Zhejiang Geely Holding Group and General Motors’ Chinese venture plan to add new pickup truck models to the niche market in China.

Reuters reports that Great Wall Motors currently dominates the market segment, which only accounts for 2% of total vehicle sales in the PRC.

If they do - that will be the end of GM in the USA.
GM really only makes money on its Trucks today - and at least some of that is because they are an American Company - something neither Nissan not Toyota could never really overcome.
