BEHOLD: Mercedes BREAKS The Internet With The 2021 S-Class But You Can See It All Right Here!
If you read the small book that Mercedes put put as a press release earlier today for the new S-Class you probably were impressed with all of the ground breaking technology presented.

Mercedes pulled out all of the stops  with this one and no doubt the competition is already scratching their collective heads trying to figure out how fast they can catch up.  That is if they can.  Needless to say the market is going to be forever changed when the S-Class hits the showroom floor and we just wanted to give you and the competition the up close and personal look with a massive photo gallery.  So large in fact that Mercedes servers broke in the process of bringing this to you.

So feast your eyes on just a sample of the photos in our gallery and check it out by clicking on the link below.

Thanks Spies! Some of the silver cars pictured are the short wheelbase versions (not for USA) which in my opinion don't look as well proportioned. Usually don't like white for this car but the one pictured featuring AMG trim looks awesome!

The S Class has this unique ability to grow on you every time you see it in pics, so much so by the time you see it in person you just go, oh ok, it really all comes together

The King is back, Bow down....

The exterior is nice but does not engender excitement. The interior looks very appealing and creates excitement. I look forward to sitting in one at my local MB dealer when they hit the ground.

Fun fact about the interior, the dash pays homage to the W210 E Class 96’-02’ and its straight forward water fountain display going through the armrest

The only thing the interior is missing is the disco ball. Perhaps an option?

It looks like the current car with an imperceptible styling update. It's not ugly, but it is played out.

While the interior is nice, the exterior is very conservative and bland. If I am going to spend a lot of money on a sedan I would at least want the exterior to stand out.

One of the things I’ve always liked about the S Class is how that straddle the line perfectly between flashy and conservative, giving you just enough ooommph but not too much so the designs remain timeless, getting you VIP service at the car park but not attracting too much unwanted attention

I have no idea why companies keep copying the Tesla peek a boo door handles. Porsche USED to say they had real door handles to help first responders extract you from your car. Too bad the firm that makes Windex is privately held.

90% or so will opt for the AMG line exterior styling so not sure why they market the non AMG in all the launch pics. Here's what it will look like in AMG line Trim.

While agree most consumers may opt for the AMG line, the luxury trim is usually top choice of high end car services, corporate/government fleets

It's not terrible, but it is far from beautiful or exciting. Meh.

For me, 80% of my gripe with the interior is literally the lower edge of the instrument cluster.

The fact that it's such a blatantly tacked-on screen does a lot of damage to an otherwise fantastic interior.

If they had put it in a traditional cowl, or even sunk the lower edge into the dash, so it looked like it was emerging, it would have done a world of good. That's also the key reason the current 7-Series interior looks so much better than the 5-Series interior, even though they have very similar design language. The lower edge of the central infotainment screen is embedded in the leather of the dash on the 7, and it's visible in the 5, making it look like it's held on with chewing gum.

The other 20% is those top central air vents. Move the starter button down to the center console, and give me two more air vents on either side of the infotainment screen like the ones on the edges.

All that being said, this interior in white with the matte wood is a looker.

This interior is not meant to be "traditional". Not sure why folks don't get that. Otherwise, how does the industry make progress? Obviously, Mercedes' current approach of the much-criticized "tacked on" screens hasn't hurt it on the sales or reputational front.

Not the overall interior, just the instrument cluster.

That's the part that (most) sticks out like a sore thumb to my eyes. Specifically how it looks tacked-on in a car of this class. That's not a question of modern or traditional, it's a question of cheap vs. refined (looking).

They can get it away with it in the C-Class today, but the current generation S doesn't have such a look.

Similarly at BMW, they can have such a design for the center screen in the 5-Series, but a subtle change in the 7 removes that look, while still keeping the same overall aesthetic.

It's a small thing, but just hiding the lower edge of that instrument cluster would do a world of good. I can't believe I'm saying this, but look at how the new Escalade does it, for another example.

It's alright. The 2020 Rolls Ghost costs tons more but is exponentially better.

LOL. I would hope something that "cost tons more" is "exponentially better".

In reality it's only marginally better - if at all.

Having both a Maybach 650 and a Rolls Phantom - I have to say that little difference is all the difference in the world. The Rolls is just so precise - while the Benz was closer to the Mulsanne at the end - a little sportier.

But for the people who can afford either - there is Nothing like the Roller. It is instantly identified in public as the Pinnacle of Luxury Vehicles even if it does not keep up Gadget wise.
