Not bad
I like how they treated the A pillar and wheel cover, adding finesse appropriate for small EV

I don't understand why this guy has such a bromance with Elon Musk. He publicly admits that Tesla is way ahead of VW in EVs...then he goes on to give Elon a private showing of the latest models...

VW may be hoping for some collaboration with Tesla. The MEB ID.x vehicles remain a huge challenge for VW.

Hoping to get input for next revision or maybe help with software or battery supply.

Wouldn't it be a crazy twist if Tesla tries to buy VW/Audi/Porsche

The worst thing he could do. Then Tesla would be valued as a car company, not as a company with a much broader "electric" field of interest.

And Tesla would use what for money?

Oh I don't see it happening lol, I just think that would be an ironic twist. The only possible car companies I could see them buying are other EV-only companies that would add some unique value. Lucid is mostly ex-Tesla engineers and it looks like they have a legit product that could be better than the S and their tech could be transferable to the 3/Y too. They could also buy a near bankrupt company for employees and factory assets.

Teslas big advantage in the auto game is their lack of legacy costs (retiree pensions/health care). Buying a large manufacturing operation would instantly end that. Also, hell will freeze over before Tesla can buy VW...there needs to be a 80% shareholder vote for VW to transfer ownership, and the state of Lower Saxony owns a little more than 20%. The big tie that Tesla and the controlling entity of VW (Porsche holdings) have is that both participate in market manipulation.

Their money is also theoretical. A deal based on Tesla's stock position would be absolutely foolhardy. Elon has to market Tesla for sale before the pyramid scheme implodes.
