Would THIS Classic Alfa From The Eighties, Help You Score Today With The Ladies?
The Alfa Romeo GTV6 2.5 from the eighties was powered by the fabulous Busso V6 engine, which loved to sing its way to the redline and the car soon became renown for its wonderfully balanced handling. Here's my full on-road review of this Alfa icon from the eighties.

Does this Alfa STILL have the mojo today that would attract the ladies?

LOL No, definitely not. An 80s hatchback, no matter the cool factor it may have among car guys, is going to be repellant to most women. This is true of many other vintage and otherwise cool cars as well, unfortunately. The truth is, many owners of such cars only get to enjoy the nods of approval from other dudes.

But when you marry a woman who grew up with a car guy for dad who loves cars herself...

My favorite Alfa Romeos (in order) are the GTV6, GTV, and Milano. They are of course horribly unreliable. A TVR is like a Toyota by comparison, but these three are fun to drive. I have seen a GTV6 and a Milano with LS engine conversions using Corvette running gear to make the swap.

As for V6s, I'd rather have the VR6 in a Corrado than this V6.

The Milano was a wonderful car when it was running...however not sure any are left running though at this point.

Best handling sedan of 1989 (dubious distinction I'll admit) and that 24 valve V6 in the Quadrofoglio was a sweet engine.

GTV6s bubble with rust and then disintegrate. If you find one in working condition, it will cost a multiple of the purchase price to make it able to sell in turn for half of what you have into it.

You do need the correct hardware to score but Alfa Romeo is not it. Some guys are born with the correct hardware and do not have to purchase anything

If you need hardware to score then you probably won't get a good score when the date is over.

Only if the lady was a female auto mechanic. Fix it again, Theresa!

I'd rather have a 1st gen Scirocco with a VR6 conversion--very easy to do--if we're talking Giugiaro-styled coupes.
