2022 BMW iX5 Technology Flagship Caught Testing In Germany

BMW is working on a technological flagship code-named the iNext, which the automaker previewed in 2018 with the Vision iNext concept and has since confirmed is coming in 2021.

New prototypes for the iNext have been spotted, revealing a few clues about the vehicle that in production guise could be badged an iX or iX5.

It amazes me how obstinate car makers get over bad styling decisions.

Chevy did the ugly chrome bar across the face and instead of abandoning it after being scalded for it they made it separate two grilles that did not relate well to each other causing the ugly to get worse.

Acura got scalded on the beak and held to it for entirely too long then Honda--not learning--trotted out the chrome brow that submarined Accord sales only to double down on that disaster by putting it on the already over-styled Civic.
