FIA Investigates Lewis Hamilton For Wearing A Political T-Shirt At Formula One Race

Lewis Hamilton faces an FIA investigation for wearing a 'political' T-shirt at Sunday's Tuscan Grand Prix.

The world champion sported the slogan, 'Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor', referring to a 26-year-old medical technician in Louisville, Kentucky, who was fatally shot after her boyfriend opened fire on police during a drugs search at their house on March 13.

Wow... “after her boyfriend opened fire on the police”. I know the story came from the UK but the reporting is horrible. Forgot all about the cops going in on a no knock in the middle of the night. The guy they were looking for was already in jail and the fact that they were asleep and scared when they heard somebody breaking down their door.

009 is a staunch bigot, a covert white supremacist masquerading as a semi-objective news blogger. It seeps through 90% of his questionable posts. An oversized, city slicker Texan redneck with a thing for automobiles. He knows what he's doing...

Daily Mail is already known for what they do. As someone of African descent and who is based in both UK and USA, both places have their own dirty laundry when it comes to people with majority African ancestry.

I stand with Lewis and the many people, who have wisely abandoned Auto Lies over the last decade.

Hell, majority of guys (common folk, not professional) into cars in North America nowadays seem to be moderate to extremist right wingers or plainly alt right.

At most automotive events, I avoid politics for this very reason.

The general exception tends to often be Bernie dudes or a sizeable chunk of ethnic minorities. Otherwise...-> -> -> ->

I blame the ultra-green/anti-ICE movement for that political shift. At most automotive events I deliberately avoid politics for this reason.

To most white people, my expectations of civil rights, liberties, and protections (to ensure I stay alive), is simply "a matter of politics" for them and not plainly ensuring MY safety and livelihood.

Where they can pick and choose sides, then take it off at the end of day to be "normal" or brunch as apolitical "friends". Like wearing blackface, then deciding they don't want the drama/controversy anymore and wipe it off.

No matter how rich I am today nor my upbringing and family legacy, the wrong ignorant bystander (being given trust/credibility) or cop with a racist outlook (being given misplaced authority), can be problematic for me, because society gives them the room to be problematic, instead of squashing any bigoted tendencies at the first hint of them. Racism transcends class, but many gaslight in pretending it doesn't.

Simply put, the turning of someone's young death into "just politics" and not about their life being taken, says a lot about the people making those claims and excusing poor actions of police in that respect.
