Ferrari Revamps The Portofino M - With An Entry Vehicle This Good Looking Do You Really Need Anything Else?

It’s been a busy year at Maranello. Despite global viruses and the like, Ferrari is cranking out new cars at a rate of knots. So after the F8 Spider, SF90 and Roma comes this, the Portofino M.

The M stands for Modificata, the Italians’ more sensual way of saying ‘mid-life update’. It’s the Portofino being given a boost in performance as a new Mercedes-AMG SL looms on the horizon, and it’s all thanks to technology shared with the Roma coupe.

If Ferrari can market the Portofino M at $150K to $160K, it will be a winner.

Love the Portofino. The front end makes it. Still fast as hell and appears more comfortable than 458 etc. definitely better looking than the Roma.

Ferrari sells out all of its models - they actually limit production.

However - and I have said this before - there is something about a well done Naturally aspirated V-12 that simply cannot be matched by anything else. WE are now seeing the last of those being built - ANd My 812 Superfast is one of the last. After having driven it - you really do not want anything else.

While Ferrari sells out every car it makes you can buy any contemporary Ferrari in the after market. There are lots of speculators at this end of the market.

Very derivative and generic looking. Not as ugly other Ferraris, so that's a good thing, but this says "Miata" more than "Daytona".
