Ford introduced the Ranger in the United States a couple of years ago, but the current generation of the global workhorse has actually been around since 2011. Pull an Amarok off the Ranger and then pull a new Touareg off the Bronco. That would give VW product people want: Fords.

Isn't this strategy akin to getting "sloppy seconds" from Ford? Only time this worked out well was with the Vibe/Matrix JV and much more so in Toyotas favor???
