Pathways away from traffic are key to increasing bicycle use for short trips. I am extremely fortunate to have such a pathway built that I can access from my house. I have started dropping my truck at the dealer, taking a bike with my and riding home. I then ride back to pick it up once the service is done.

People don't realize that bicycles are just as dangerous as motorcycles. At least on a moto I had head to toe body armor and was able to walk away unscathed when cars hit me. When riding a bike all you have is a tiny styrofoam helmet at best. Get hit by a car and it's game over.

The UK is such an idiot state. Bicycles are not a COVID cure all. In fact they are MORE likely to cause infection. You exert. Heart rate increases. Respiration increases. Breathe in the COVID. Wearing a mask and riding the bus is safer.
