Not To Be Out-Regulated By California, New York Introduces Bill To Ban Fossil Fuel Vehicle Sales By 2035

California announced a ban on the sale of new gas-powered vehicles from 2035 on September 23. Two days later, New York state senator Pete Harckham from the Hudson Valley introduced a bill that would require all of New York State’s sales of new cars and trucks to be zero emissions by 2035.

NY State and NYC haven't a clue or plan how to implement and is just playing to its liberal base. Its not just the grid that needs upgrading its that NYC alone accounts for 15% of all apartments in the country with 20 units or more. Just under 64% of all households in NYC are rental units exactly the flipside of the rest of the country.

What a joke. If that was truly a priority there would be a globa1 1 child policy. Not to mention global restrictions on air travel, maximum home size, maximum number of vehicles per household, maximum allowable annual shopping (consumption), etc.
