Genesis Looks To Kick BMW And Mercedes In The Shin With A G80 Sport Model

I think Genesis keeps talking a big game yet is not delivering the goods as is shown in their monthly sales of the G70 which was supposed to be a 3-series killer. The designs are nice but the vehicles do not seem to be taking off.

Well, let's admit. Their products are pretty competitive. The G70 is a pretty formidable sports/luxury sedan though its styling is tepid. The updated facelift should help it.
The G80 and GV80 are looking very promising as luxury offerings. My gut tells me if these "80" models provide successful, then the Genesis brand's image will shift, which is what it needs right now. But, time will tell when they finally go on sale. However, if the Telluride is an indication, then the Koreans might be offering pretty solid cars to market.

I agree that the Telluride is a strong seller. With that said, Hyundai should have just made Kia their premium brand and never added Genesis. I would rather have the Telluride than the GV80 SUV.

At one point Kia was supposed to be a Buick/Acura level brand with Hyundai below and Genesis above.

Yet another great Hyundai to own in 3 years after the 50% depreciation.

Or you could buy the new Jaguar XF and have 50% depreciation in one year.

Is that the stunning new Jaguar XF?

Yes, but the JagUar will be broken all the time. So even at 50% depreciated value, it's still not worth it.
