SPY VIDEO! FIRST Next Generation Acura MDX INTERIOR TEASED! Will It BEAT KIA's TELLURIDE In Sales?
The reimagined MDX cabin showcases Acura interior design and craftsmanship, communicating performance and sophistication. The new wider and lower instrument panel, designed for both elegance and a clear view of the road ahead, compliments the new look of MDX and is accented with authentic open-pore wood and hand-wrapped leather with French stitching.

Next-generation Acura sport seats offer a more sculpted form with curvilinear quilting in all three rows, along with gradient perforation, and high-contrast stitching and piping. First-class seating comfort, afforded by a wider body design, is enhanced with multi-mode front-seat massage functionality.
Signature Acura technologies debuting in the new MDX Prototype will include the Acura Precision Cockpit™ all-digital driver's meter, an ultra-wide full-HD center display, and a next-level, 25-speaker "Signature Edition" ELS Studio 3D® premium audio system with integrated LED ambient lighting.

The MDX Prototype presages the arrival of the new, fourth-generation Acura MDX, launching early next year as the most premium and performance-focused MDX in Acura history. The MDX Prototype will showcase the complete transformation of MDX's seven-passenger interior to reflect its elevated status as the flagship of the Acura lineup, featuring a striking design, rich and authentic materials, and an array of signature new Acura technologies.

How does this raise the bar? It looks just like any other modern car.

Nailed it.

Its price point starts where the Telluride ends. Why would it beat its sales? It's not competing with it.

And conversely, the Telluride is every bit as premium as the Japanese Buick without the cost.

The MDX is stunningly class trailing. Nothing about it is remotely special or desirable.

The XT6 I'm using right now has grown on me tremendously. It's not as nice as a Telluride--despite being one pay grade higher--but even it would be more compelling than this lazy effort from Honda.

The lines in non-premium and premium are blurred across the board.

Kia will outsell it as HK will offer ridiculous 96 month cheap financing even though most of these will be in the scrap yard long before the payments are finished. The MDX will be good for 500KM and you see tonnes of older ones on the road and enjoy strong resale values. I regret not getting one myself over my RDX for the extra towing capacity.

100% bullshit: "...The MDX will be good for 500KM..."
100% bigotry: "...most of these will be in the scrap yard long before..."
100% irrelevant: "...older ones on the road and enjoy strong resale values..." because leasing is grabbing more and more if the pie.

My employee had one with over 550KM before it got totalled and I have seen others before as one of my customers buys Honda and Toyotas to export to the Caribbean and Middle East where 500KM is a new car to them. Bigotry -nope. Scotty Kilmar even calls them just above crap and NOT LONG TERM CARS. I will take his “qualified word” over some douche who schlepps these for a living thanks much.
