What You Saw Is What You Will Get: Nissan Claims Z-Proto Will Go To Production As Is
The last thing most people would want to do on a cold and rainy October morning is to rise early and attend a car meet. Those who weathered the drizzle on Sunday's Daikanyama Tsutaya Bookstore Morning Cruise in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, however, were rewarded not only with a glimpse of Nissan's concept for the next-generation Z sports car, the Z Proto, but a visit by Nissan executives who surprised the crowd by announcing the Z Proto will reach production almost unchanged.

Interesting but not a got to have design. Get the power, performance and price right or it will fail quickly and be the last of its kind.

$40K with all the bells and whistles for the top model and it will sell. Having the basic car be mid 30s, total failure.

Good luck with that. It seems like a promising but unfortunately unfinished design.

No kidding, it looks like they gave up on the final design already.

I like the minimalism but I do hope they refine that lower grille for production.
