Sign me up!

I'm on early access, but I think this is going to be a very limited beta. I'm hoping to get access by the end of the year.

I'm fine beta testing many products. With Autopilot, I would be OK with it as long as I had a clear understanding on what it's supposed to do and what it might not do.

As long are you're paying attention and ready to take over at any time, there is little if any risk. The problem is the system is sometimes too good and you think it is better than it actually is. The latest neural net should be able to take the car into full Level 4 over the next few years, but no consumer has actually experienced it yet. Hopefully it will be much smoother than the transition from AP1 to AP2, which took over 2 years for AP2 to be better than AP1 in all scenarios.

That question would be better asked of the people the Tesla’s will be sharing the roads (and sidewalks and parking lots) with. THOSE are the ones truly Beta testing the software, not the people who own Tesla’s.

So far Autopilot has been proven to be safer for other drivers. The latest version could be different. It might be slightly worse at first while the net is being trained, but in the long run it should be better. I can't imagine it being worse than a typical driver these days, it's a low bar.
