The only VW worth considering is the GTI and the R version is very much a "de lo bueno, lo mejor" kind of proposition. Why is the GTI good and the rest of everything VW makes such utter shit?

The GTI/R will always be the benchmark for performance and value per dollar in the compact category. Now VW needs to bring us the Tiguan R and we will have the funnest compact SUV in addition to having the best one available

There should be an Escape ST and an Escape RS. Ford is asleep at the wheel. A Tiguan GTI would be brilliant.

VW should stun us all and do a "Golf R All Trak" AWD performance wagon.

That would be a sleeper for sure!

Its probably the only way to differentiate the Golf R from the GTI anyway.
