What Excites You MORE In Tesla ELECTRIC Competitors? Rivian/Hummer-like TRUCKS Or Audi/Porsche Cars And SUV's?
Electric vehicles are far from mainstream or close to reaching critical mass but you can't argue that the people who like them, aren't passionate about them and their potential.

Just a few years ago the choices could be counted on your hand and were all cars.

But today, more and more options are surfacing like the Hummer EV, CyberTruck, Rivian, etc.

So the question we have is if you were going to go electric at some point, on which side of the fence is the grass greener to YOU with NON Tesla competitive vehicles?

Is it with products like Audi e-tron, Porsche, Mustang Mach-E OR on the truck side with new toys coming from Hummer, Rivian, Electric F-150?

I'd like a minivan, with all the climate control and electrical options for work or camping.

Light and heavy duty trucks are more exciting as they have yet to come out in force. Long range electric buses/coaches/RVs would also be neat once the pandemic tapers.

Lucid and the Mach-E are the two most interesting ones for me

Tesla is rolling out FSD beta right now, it appears to be much better than anyone expected so far. If they pull it off, there may not be many Tesla competitors left.

Prices are going up for FSD by $2k on Monday ($10k upgrade).

Although I'm not a truck guy, the pick up battle will be very interesting.
Currently own a model 3 and intrigued by the Mach E.

All of the competition is exciting!

We're seeing various capable EV products that hit different areas of consumer trends and offer different experiences for the EV owner. I like Tesla (Model X), but I'd take an e-Tron SUV/Sportback or EQC or Taycan or Hummer EV3X/Ed1. The Mach-E is nice, but I'm waiting for the Lincoln version. And I can't wait to see the finished Cadillac Lyriq.

My (heart) has never been set on getting a Tesla, so having a dozen other EV options across a good range of brands is a really good thing.

None of the EV trucks really excite me at all because I tow heavy. And no EV can do that with any kind of decent range. Furthermore no EV can really go off road for more than a short time because there's no place to charge in the middle of the MOAB. One cool technology that I think will be a hit though, is Ford's on-board electrical generator on the new F150's. It will likely trickle up to the Superduty trucks. Imagine a F350 that can power your fifth wheel for a day or two, and regenerates the power reserve when you drive on diesel to the next campsite. That would be pretty cool.

Right now, all I want is a brown dual motor electric '80 Dodge Diplomat with a Reagan/Bush campaign bumper sticker.

I'm a little sweet on Rivian right now. Not too over the top styling, well tested, great acceleration and acceptable range.
