Lewis Hamilton Edges Out Michael Schumacher As Most Winning Driver With 92nd Formula 1 Win
To flesh out the 2020 Formula One season, The Powers That Be fleshed out empty weekends with tracks that have either never appeared in F1 before or haven’t been part of the calendar for years. Some have been fun, some have been boring—but whatever else happens, we need to keep Portimao on the calendar. And, to cap things off, Lewis Hamilton rewrote the history books by scoring his 92nd win, breaking the previous record set by Michael Schumacher.

@TauronB2G

No, this isn't black privilege. Hamilton earned every bit of his success by winning. Bubba Wallace, however, is an example of black privilege in the racing world. He has been promoted far beyond his talent and performance and helped perpetuate a hate crime hoax. If he were white, he would not be promoted to the extent that he has.

The rest of us watching still wonder why the number 2 car driven by Bottas is so quick in qualifying but always seems to fade during the race. I am sure Mercedes wants both drivers to have an equal chance at winning.

BS metric as Hammy the whiner always had the best car or one of the most competitive sleds on the grid.

Shuey signed with Ferrari when they were in the basement and helped build the car from the ground up with Ross Braun and was uncompetitive for many of those early years or else he would of had even more world titles and wins to his name.

Shuey is still KING of F1.

For sure one of, and some would say greatest driver ever!

Of all the drivers he really seems to be able to dig deep to get that extra bit out of his car/tires etc... This race in Portugal was interesting in that in many corners where everyone else, including Bottas was going over the curbs, he would keep it neatly on the track and not touch the curbs which was likely a factor in his first set of tires lasting a good long time and never graining etc...

I enjoy his comments about qualifying and the race when he devolves into some of the details of this setting or about what was happening around a particular corner. He can translate what's happening in the car into information that is interesting to the layman in the interviews and to his mechanics to ensure the car is set up perfect.

He likely has 2-4 or more years left to race as well. He can run up the tally quite a bit.
