Paradigm Shift: Consumer Reports Ranks GM's Super Cruise WAY Ahead Of Tesla's Autopilot

General Motors' Super Cruise once again edged Tesla's Autopilot in an evaluation of 17 vehicles equipped with active driving assistance systems by Consumer Reports, the testing organization said on Wednesday.

A Tesla Model Y fitted with Autopilot finished "a distant second," the group said, to a Cadillac CT6 equipped with Super Cruise, which GM is rolling out to more than 20 vehicles -- including its new Hummer electric pickup truck -- over the next three years.

GM has always had phenomenal engineering prowess that when free from corporate and accounting interference does many good things. GM's leadership and corporate culture limits company prospects not the amount and quality of its engineering.

What an epic lie to consumers. Consumer Reports states that the functionality and capabilities on the Tesla are far better.

The only reason why Tesla isn't #1 is because of driver monitoring and restrictions. You can only use Super Cruise on a very limited number of roads, and you can use Autopilot almost anywhere today. They deducted almost all of the points from those 2 categories.

As a responsible adult that is paying attention, I would much rather have the freedom and flexibility to use a better system anywhere. They also didn't review the FSD build which is 10x better than the current software.
