To be independently wealthy via fame is a prison with glass walls. Stay behind the scenes and build your legacy via your name and achievements versus unwelcome, immediate public recognition via physical appearance.

My great uncle (d.1966) was one of Africa's first self-made billionaires (inflation) in the 1900s and knighted by King George VI, but we are now all spread out worldwide albeit quietly.

Over here, every single family member flies under the radar and looks like any regular American. When in ancestral lands, not so much. Very, very uncomfortable. I would hate to be related to a former U.S president or a candidate, in such a powerful nation with constant worldwide attention.

People like the Windsors, the Bidens, the Bushes, the Obamas, the Trumps, and the Clintons will never be able to fly below nor will most A-List entertainers. Just absolutely no privacy of any sort.

Site has needed a back-end technology upgrade and front-end UI upgrade for about 10 years. I miss all the prior members who left for whatever reason. Every 3rd time I try to logon, I get a 'back-end' technology error about SQL Server or Pascal or some other error like that which is very 1998.

I rarely do comment on the politics pages, but I have been following this page since they were once a week and they were the go-to sites for car spy news and info in its hey-day getting 20-200 comments an item, now is just sad to see how desperate this page is to get hits by appealing to political extremes and not an auto enthusiast. Unfortunately, there are a lot better car sites out there I hope that Autospies finds its way again.
