WATCH: Think The Lordstown Endurance Can't Challenge The F-150? Think Again After THIS Challenge!

Lordstown Motors has just released a new video presenting a tug of war challenge between the prototype of the 2021 Lordstown Endurance all-electric pickup truck and the conventional 2019 Ford F-150 Lariat EcoBoost with the drive mode set to 4WD-Low.

Because of the obvious advantages of all-electric drive (especially high torque) and the promotional character of the video, we did not expect anything but a win for Lordstown.

Its easy to see the Ford hit accelerator a fraction of a second after the Lordstown. Not saying Ford would win or hold its own but on grass whichever vehicle accelerates first has a huge advantage. Then again maybe it was staged.

10,000% staged. Literally no one that truly uses a pickup will fall for this mess. The posers will.

Yes - The Lordstown starts first which is a big advantage.

Even so, there's no way the Ford could have beaten it. Way more power and torque at basically zero RPM.

The problem with the shit from Lordstown is that they do not the have the budget for competent engineering and rigorous testing. Like Tesla, they go from computer screen to 1 prototype to full production.

Lordstown is the worst automotive name since Vigor.

I don't know. "Alero" is pretty bad.

Alero is pure genius compared to Lordstown.
