Bloomberg Writer Picks The New Corvette In Their WORST Car Interiors For 2020? You WON'T Believe Some Of the Other BONEHEAD Picks As Well!
Check out this article picking the WORST car interiors of 2020?

In my opinion, this Bloomberg article analysis is on par with Michael’s performance on the campaign trail.

Here are the lowlights of their call on the Corvette.

“Witness the massive, curved divider that runs straight through the middle of the car. Lined with buttons and covered in low-grade leather, it looks like a part of the command helm on the starship Enterprise.”

Hannah, have you been in PREVIOUS Corvettes in order to appreciate what a massive improvement this is? Or say in a $75k Mustang?

“You’ll never be able to reach over and squeeze your driving partner’s knee or use the buttons on the angled center dashboard screen while the car is being driven.”

Hannah, not being able to squeeze a knee while you’re driving the best Corvette ever made matters why?

“But Audi, Ferrari, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz all make sports cars with excellent interiors. These, unfortunately, aren’t up to snuff.”

Which Audi, Porsche, MB sports cars aren’t at least 50-75k more in price? THEY SHOULD BE BETTER!

Lastly, have you been in a Subaru?

Thank GOD, you got ONE right on your list, the Fiat 500. There IS hope for you.

If you take a step back, there is no other car on the market that has an interior designed like the C8. It is polarizing to some. They are not wrong about the wall between the passenger and driver or the oddball row of buttons.

As for worst automotive interiors, I would put forward the Toyota 4Runner. At $48k CAD for a base SR5 it has such a plasticy interior it defies all reason at that price point. As well as a a frame and suspension with virtually no rust protection other than cheap paint. The next generation should be made in North America to reduce MFG COGS vs shipping it from Japan for all markets.

The question was about CAR interiors, not suv's/trucks. What is your list of WORST interiors of 2020?

Interiors with touch screens with no or few buttons are the worst. Filing thru multiple screens to change volume, radio station, turn on seat heater, etc is insane and dangerous.

The C8 interior IS terrible. Not only is it an ergonomic nightmare, it's ugly and looks like it was made in the garage for the Frankenstein car you're building out of spare parts. The set-up really isn't as conducive to the driver as the driver-centric look of it would suggest and the passenger feels like a second-class citizen as well as experiences claustrophobia because of the wall between them and the driver.

huh?

the C8 interior was clearly made for the "driver". and that's plenty respectable. no, i don't particularly like that silly row of buttons, but it's unique & functional. and if I'm ever in the driver's seat, I'm more worried about steering, speed, gearing - controlling the vehicle.

Agreed about the Vette interior being terrible. It is so claustrophobic.

The C8 interior seems to have been designed by a middle school boy in art class. I think I sketched something like it when I was 13 years old after watching Star Wars or Battlestar Galactica
