If there was any doubt all automakers are moving towards EVs........

blah, blah....all EV lineup by 2099. Bentley's declaration has some credibility. If GM can prove solid with the Hummer EV & Cadillac Lyriq, ultra-luxury touring w/effortless electric cruising will be plenty possible.

This will take new lightweight platforms. A Bentley Continental is already 2 tonnes. And that is without batteries. I don't think a 6,000 or 6,500lb car is the way to go. But it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

#Nope Instead of rebodying the Panamera, they'll switch to the Taycan. VW isn't going to waste money on Bentley which is a bit of a money pit.

Yep. New platforms. And yes the Taycan skateboard will work. At some point they should make a Cayenne type BEV. And then Bentley can use that too.

Jack up the Taycan and presto-change-o "Cayenne" EV.

So rebodying the Taycan. This isn't an advancement. This is VW cutting costs.

I expect Rolls and Maybach to be all electric as well.
